If changing up between 2000-3000rpm then it takes 1-2s for revs to drop down, so for a smooth change have to change slowly and changing up over 3000rpm is fine. Driving along at 50-60mph, clutch in (coasting) and revs fall but will take their time or stick around 1500-1700rpm Warm up vehicle. Then, from the engine compartment, grip each heater hose to check if they are HOT. Not warm HOT. If they are both hot, then the BLEND DOOR is stuck to the cold position.
