If a mod comes with localized string files and it doesn't have included string files for the language you are playing the game, it will simply crash. But that should be very rare and can be fixed easily by renaming the files. However, there are translations for many of the popular mods, either here on Nexus, or you can also look here.
\n how to change language in skyrim

gellybear. The title says it all. Some unknown mod changed some location names to different languages. Some of the places I've seen that changed names are the Ragged Flagon, Understone Keep, Fort Dawnguard, cellar in Lakeview house, and Embershard Mine. I know, this is not at all game breaking or something, but it still is kinda annoying.

Hello, I canโ€™t find anything online thatโ€™s helping my problem. I have changed the Xbox language to Japanese entirely, uninstalled Skyrim and installed it twice after doing so. Both times it ended up being in English, despite my Xbox being in Japanese. Any help is appreciated. I am on an Xbox One S.

- I reinstalled skyrim and set the install route to the new drive. - Skyrim currently is in a new drive that i recently got, all the left over files from the previous install are removed from the main drive in case steam reads them, i checked to see if skyrim.ini has the language set to enlish and it does. ''Simple Lock-On SE'' doesn't work anymore and i was hoping if there are other mods that do the same thing and are working with the current version of skyrim. Showing 1 - 1 of 1 comments

You need to set your screen when you have MO2 running, by chose Skyrim special Launcher. Not SKSE or Skyrim. And check so BetIni have not set your ini files to write protected. I dont use that crap program so I dont know.
